Football-Nigeria Football Federation Warn Eaglets On High Expectations

A member of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme has sounded a note of warning to the in-form U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets, as they round-off preparations in Doha, Qatar.

Ikpeme , a seasoned sports psychologist noted that the players must gird their loins as they prepare to face the rest of the continent, saying that their results during the qualifiers have heightened expectations amongst Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the NFF top gun who joined the team last Monday, has commended the exemplary conduct of both the players and officials during their almost one-month stay in Doha.
”The NFF as well as Nigerians are happy with this team because you are focused and disciplined”, he said in a press statement made available to futaa.com.
”You have conducted yourselves very well here and we want you to go to Lagos en route to Morocco with the same attitude”. concludes Dr. Ikpeme
The Eaglets are expected in Lagos today, before they finally jet out to Morocco to fight for the CAN-U17 trophy.
